Making data fun again is our approach to data visualization. The goal is to make difficult concepts easier to grasp, novel ideas easier to remember and provide simple recommendations in an entertaining way. Animation is another tool for communication and data socialization. Presenting data in this way could lead to better decision making.
The top ranked male tennis players, week by week, from 2005 to 2019. Interesting to see how Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have dominated the rankings.
This is the evolution of the tallest structures in the world and how their heights compare to each other. In this chart buildings, monuments and free standing structures are compared in the same chart. The objective was to visualize the man-made construction that held the title of tallest at any given time.
This video was developed when the pandemic started. It was our way of explaining the meaning of flattening the curve and the health recommendations to follow.
We put together this animation based on Google searches in Canada in 2020. It shows the relative importance of some of the most relevant terms. It is a quick way to remember what happened in a year and, most interesting, what caught the attention of the population.
